The design looks really cool. Materials are good, and the buttons are well disposed, so it´s easy to play games. However is a little hard to hanlde if you have big hands, not so hard as the GBM of course. The screen has great quality and lets us to see photo, video and games in a really good condition.  Worth it, but not perfect by Ryan Huston on 04/17/2009: Before the arrival of this, i DLed 10Gigabytes worth of NES, SNES, GBA, NEOGEO,etc ROMS. Now that I've received it, I'm happy to report that it IS worth the money. My only gripe is that, as that one reviewer stated, the NEO GEO isn't working. It comes with a neogeo.zip on the device, so its just a matter of figuring out how/where to unzip it. I've tried a couple locations and it's yet to work. I'll figure it out though. My only other gripe is that it doesn't play a few ROMS that i DLed, but that may simply be the ROMS problem and not the handheld. The picture is crisp, the sound works well, the menu is pretty easy to navigate, the overall quality of the buttons and d-pad are better than expected.... Overall i'm pleasantly surprised with my purchase. Only time will tell how this holds up. The box did state a 12 month warranty, so that's promising. I give this a 4.5/5 simply because the NEO GEO isn't working and there's no instruction HOW to make it work. But even if you only want to play GBA games, or NES games, Or SNES games, it's worth it to have THOUSANDS of classics in palm of your hand.

We have a couple of kinect shooting games to look forward to in 2011. The information and release dates about these games are a little sketchy at this time, but this is what I have researched so far. With the Xbox kinect controller you should have a free range of motions so you will be able to experience more of the battles.

The first kinect shooting game is Steel Battalion – Heavy Armor.

Set in 2082, Steel Battalion Heavy Armor depicts a world devoid of computers, where war is waged with rudimentary weapons as new superpowers struggle for dominance. In a twist of fate, the US army has been forced to begin major landing operations on what was once its own soil. In this low-tech era there is one weapon class that will determine the course of the war – the Vertical Tank. VTs are guaranteed to instill fear in enemy forces when they burst onto the battlefield; but they are nothing without the crews who man them. Lacking computer aided weapon and piloting systems; these brave men and women must now rely on skill, intuition and each other to ensure victory.

The next kinect shooting game is Codename D; this was introduced at the Tokyo Game Show in Japan in 2010 by a manufacturer named Grasshopper. But again very little is known about this game, if you would like to look at the video of codename D.

Project Draco is going to be a kinect only game. Looking at the trailers the game seems to be centered around flying dragons.

The same applies to the Playstation Network, and Wiiware; they will also join the cloud gaming market by releasing games for download over their private networks.

The possible announcement of Microsoft's' and Sony's future consoles by the end of the year is exciting for every gamer around the world. It is an extremely fun game, and perfect for that next game night, date night, family reunion, family game night, or get-together with neighbors or friends. Plus, if you are going to play a game that is funny and embarrasses you – you might as well have everyone be embarrassed right!

RECKLESS DRESS UP

# of Players: 6 or more

Objects Needed: Articles of clothing: shirt, pants, socks, gloves, hat, shoes, coat, & blindfold.

Some games are competitive and require strategy, while others are meant to laugh and just have fun … this is one of them! Divide those playing into 2 teams, and in preparation, gather these items for each team: a pair of mis-matched gloves, blindfold, funny hat, shirt, large coat, baggy pants, socks, and shoes.  (It is of course best if the clothing is old or could possibly get stretched out, and each team needs their own set of clothes).

Place each team’s clothes in their own separate piles at one end of the room. At “go,” one person from each team will race to their own team’s pile, place the blindfold on, put on the two gloves first, and then put on every other clothing article. Once a player has put on every article of clothing, they will take the blindfold off, quickly take all the clothes off, and go and tag the next person on their team (if the weather permits, play this game outside where there is more room). In relay race style, the next person will then have to come to the pile and do the same thing. The first team to get each teammate there to the pile, put on / take off the clothes, and back to the starting line is the winner!

To add a fun twist, go outside and try a different variation of this game. As in the description above, each team will have their own pile of clothes. A starting line will be formed and each team’s pile of clothes will be by them at the starting line. At ‘go’ – the first teammate will race to put on the clothes. Once all the items are on, they will have to run down, touch the middle line 30 feet away and come back and tag their next teammate. Once the next person has been tagged, the first person will quickly take the clothes off and the next person will start putting them on. The 2nd person can not start running until all the clothes are on. This repeats until one team has got all their players to the middle line and back – they are the winner!
